Il Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria (abilitante alla professione sanitaria di Odontoiatra) appartiene alla Classe LM-46 (Classe delle Lauree in Magistrali in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria), ha una durata di sei anni e comporta l'acquisizione di 360 crediti formativi universitari (CFU) per il conseguimento del titolo. Sono previsti 27 esami che prevedono l'acquisizione di 342 CFU. I restanti crediti saranno acquisiti attraverso altre attività formative quali stage, tirocini, attività elettive e la prova finale. Indicativamente, gli esami previsti sono 4 al primo anno, 8 al secondo anno, 6 al terzo anno, 4 al quarto anno, 5 al quinto anno, 0 al sesto anno.
Il corso di studio è ad accesso programmato nazionale: la graduatoria viene formulata in base all'esito di un test a scelta multipla ed eventuale valutazione dei titoli.
L'accesso prevede la verifica del possesso dei requisiti curriculari.
La lingua ufficiale del corso è l'italiano.
Alcuni insegnamenti del corso potranno essere tenuti in lingua inglese.
Al termine degli studi viene rilasciato il titolo di Laurea Magistrale in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria.
Il titolo consente l'accesso a Master di secondo livello, Dottorato di Ricerca o Scuole di specializzazione.
Il laureato magistrale in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria ha la possibilità di iscriversi all'albo professionale dei Medici Chirurghi e Odontoiatri, previo superamento dell'Esame di Stato.
Il Corso di Laurea intende fornire una solida preparazione culturale e metodologica nelle discipline odontoiatriche che consentirà ai laureati di inserirsi rapidamente nel mondo del lavoro esprimendo piena padronanza nel trattamento delle patologie odontoiatriche grazie anche all'ampio bagaglio professionale acquisito negli ultimi tre anni di corso, spesi a contatto dei pazienti afferenti alla Clinica Odontoiatrica. I laureati in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria saranno altresì in grado alla fine del percorso curriculare di interagire con colleghi della altre discipline medico-chirurgiche nel trattamento di pazienti con problematiche sistemiche. Il percorso curriculare specifico garantisce inoltre la formazione utile al laureato ad iniziare sin dal suo esordio nel mondo del lavoro una attività professionale autonoma.
I laureati in corso nel 2016/2017 sono 73,1%. Il dato è in aumento rispetto allo scorso anno 66,7% (2015/2016). Se il dato viene integrato con L+1 (Laureati entro la durata normale + 1) si arriva alla quasi totalità degli iscritti. Buoni risultati mostrati su Almalaurea con un apprezzamento complessivo da parte degli studenti per il corso, per l'organizzazione dello stesso e per l'ambiente di formazione. Lusinghieri i risultati mostrati sull'occupazione a tre anni dalla Laurea (100% contro il 89,1% della media della stessa classe sul totale degli Atenei italiani).
Stessa valutazione (100% del nostro Corso rispetto alla media dell'85% del complesso dei corsi offerto dall'Ateneo Milano-Bicocca. I tempi di immissione nel mondo del lavoro risibili (2,4 mesi a 5 anni contro gli 8,7 mesi di media dell'Ateneo) sono dovuti per lo più all'attesa per l'abilitazione professionale.


The Master's Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, qualify for the dental profession of dentist - School of Medicine and Surgery - of the University of Milano-Bicocca. The Master's Degree has a duration of six years and involves the acquisition of 360 universitary credits (CFU) for the achievement of the degree. There are 27 examinations related with the acquisition of 342 CFU. The remaining credits will be obtained through other training activities such as internships, traineeships, elective activities and the final examination. Indicatively, the exams are scheduled 4 for the first year, 8 for the second year, 6 for the third year, 4 for the fourth year, 5 for the fifth year. Sixth year is full in practice.
The course of study is entered with a national access test (25 places): the ranking is formulated based on the outcome of a multiple choice test and possible assessment of the qualifications.
Access is obtained after verification of the possession of the curricular requirements.
The official language of the course is Italian.
Some course lessons may be held in English.
At the end of the studies, the Master's Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics is issued.
The title allows access to Second Level Masters, PhD or Specialization Schools.
Graduates in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics have the opportunity to enroll in the professional register of Physicians Surgeons and Dentists, after passing the State Examination.
The Degree Course aims to provide a solid cultural and methodological preparation in the dental disciplines that will allow graduates to quickly enter the world of work expressing full mastery in the treatment of dental diseases thanks to the extensive professional background acquired in the last three years of the course, spent in contact with patients belonging to the Dental Clinic. Graduates in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics will also be able at the end of the curriculum to interact with colleagues in other medical-surgical disciplines in the treatment of patients with systemic problems. The specific curricular path also guarantees the training of the graduate to start an autonomous professional activity right from the outset in the world of work.
There are 73.1% of current graduates in 2016/2017. This is an increase from last year 66.7% (2015/2016).
If the figure is supplemented with L-1 (Graduates within the normal duration of 1) almost all members are added. Good results shown on Almalaurea with an overall appreciation from students for the course, for the organization of the course and for the training environment. The results shown on employment three years after graduation were flattering (100% vs. 89.1% of the average of the same class out of the total number of Italian Universities).
Same rating (100% of our Course compared to the average of 85% of the course complex offered by the University of Milan-Bicocca. The time to enter the world of work laughable (2.4 months to 5 years compared to the 8.7 months average of the University) are mostly due to waiting for professional qualification.
