L-24 - Scienze e tecniche psicologiche - Università degli Studi di Padova

Caratteristiche e finalità
Psychological Science è un corso di studi triennale internazionale che si propone come attrattiva per studentesse e studenti internazionali e italiani che vogliano spendere la propria professionalità anche all'estero. Il Corso consente di acquisire le conoscenze di base relative a tutti i principali settori della psicologia e ai metodi di indagine scientifica.

Ambiti occupazionali
Coloro che conseguono il titolo potranno svolgere attività professionali all'interno di strutture pubbliche e private, nelle istituzioni educative, nelle imprese e nelle organizzazioni del terzo settore. Sotto la supervisione di una laureata o di laureato magistrale in psicologia, potranno svolgere attività in ambiti diversi, quali i servizi diretti alla persona, ai gruppi, alle organizzazioni e alle comunità e per l'assistenza e la promozione della salute. Tali attività riguardano gli ambiti della valutazione psicometrica, psicosociali e dello sviluppo, nonché gli ambiti della gestione delle risorse umane nelle diverse età della vita.
Inoltre, questo Corso di studi intende fornire una preparazione di base che risulti di interesse per studentesse e studenti internazionali e che permetta, invece, una migliore spendibilità per quelli italiani nel mercato del lavoro a livello internazionale.

Dalla triennale alla magistrale
Il Corso consente l'accesso al corso di studi magistrale già erogato in lingua inglese dalla Scuola di Psicologia, Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology, o a uno degli altri corsi di studio magistrale offerti dalla Scuola o da altri atenei italiani, secondo le modalità che saranno indicate negli specifici avvisi di ammissione.
Consente inoltre l'accesso a un percorso formativo da svolgere all'estero, accedendo a Master degree courses di università internazionali; questa possibilità si concretizza grazie alla creazione e il miglioramento di parternariati strategici stretti tra istituzioni nel settore della formazione anche attraverso le possibilità offerte dal programma per la mobilità studentesca nell'Unione europea Erasmus+.

Characteristics and objectives
Psychological Science is a first cycle degree course that aims to attract foreign students and Italian students that wish to work abroad. This degree programme allows to acquire basic knowledge of all the main sectors of Psychology and of scientific research methods.

Occupational opportunities
These graduates can find professional occupations in public or private bodies, in education and in enterprises and organisations of the third sector. Under the supervision of a Psychologist (i.e. a graduate with a second cycle degree course) they can work in services caring for the individual, groups, organisations and communities in promoting health. All these sectors are related to psychometric assessment, psychosocial assistance and development of human resources across the life span.
This programme supplies the foundations of psychological knowledge to foreign students and to the Italian students that wish to approach the professional labour market at international level.

From Bachelor's degree to Master's degree
This bachelor's degree course allows access to the International Master's course programme Cognitive neuroscience and Clinical neuropsychology provided by the School of Psychology of Padua University, or to any of the Master's degree programmes offered by the School of Psychology of Padua University or by other Italian Universities, according to the prerequisites mentioned in the specific admission notice.
Moreover, this Bachelor's degree programme allows access to a Master's degree course offered by foreign Universities. This option is strictly connected with the possibility to create strategic partnerships with other countries for student mobility.
